This week we have a change in pace. This is the book where my husband labelled the heroine loose. Well, she's not really, just needing a weekend to scratch the itch she can't control.
What would you do in her situation? After all, she's single, ready for a rendezvous and in A Bar In Paris.
When I woke, the light filtered into my eyes and I groaned, rolling until I hit something warm and hard. Oh. My. God! For a moment, a dizzying wave of disorientation crashed down on me and I gulped.
I slipped to the side of the bed, thinking only to dress and get out of there before he woke. “Are you planning on leaving immediately?”
A Bar In Paris
Ever considered a naughty weekend? A “Hook-Up” with no strings?
What does a woman do when she’s turning thirty? She takes a sexy weekend trip to Paris looking for commitment-free sex. Or, that’s what Davina Chalmers does, anyway.
Enter Johnathon a tall charming Englishman. How can she possibly resist his charm and that dimple?
But what starts out as a lark quickly becomes so much more. But how does one weekend become a lifetime? And how does a lie of omission bring everything into jeopardy?
Where To Buy
Yes! This is yet another reading of my books. This one is about a girl who's biological clock is ticking. She's ready for a weekend with a man and chooses Paris as her location.
It was filmed a couple of weeks ago, when the weather was still humid and sticky so yes, I'm still sweating buckets in it! (Sorry about that!)
I hope you enjoy it!
2019 has been a super busy year.
Apart from 6 re-releases, I've released 2 new-old books in paperback, add to that 2 all new releases and one coming next month and woah! I've been a busy busy girl.
Then last night I finally sent Miss Isabelle's Craving to my publisher (boy I hope she likes it) So with some luck 2020 is starting to fill.
All this adds up to a busy busy year. I also have another 3 fully completed manuscripts on my computer and 1 almost finished. (Some of these pieces are long term projects and others have been the work of not so long ago.)
Now, as we wind into NanoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) I'm turning my mind to what I want to write next. I honestly don't have a clue. I have several things to finish... I guess I could work on them, I have a final book in a trilogy to write (that might be fun... bring me more zombie fun!) or I could just hustle something new. But hey, that's how I roll coming into Nano.
So I thought it might be fun to see this years release list in full colour.
6 re-releases (paperback and ebook):
2 New in Paperback but already released as EBooks
3 All New Releases for 2019 (The last one releases in October 2019)
It feel like forever since I got the opportunity to post a blog. But, life is busy and so I've been just trying to swim with the tide.
The tide has been winning lately.
Today though, I actually achieved something amazing. See, I was offering my Special Pre Orders of Celtic Cupid for those who pre-ordered through a special portal. Today was D-Day. The day I set the books up with numbering, the Authentification certificates and per Elle Woods "the land of the free gift with purchase."
Today I packaged and shipped those that were able to go.
It felt wonderful.
And to those lovely readers who pre-ordered copies? Keep an eye on your mailbox because they are on their way now.
February has dawned and this month I wanted to bring you a range of snippets so today I thought I'd start with A Bar In Paris. I mean, it's something very few of us would do... Go find a guy for a weekend of pleasure... So take a walk on the wild side!
“I watched the man stalk to the bar and order in perfect English-accented French. “Une bière, s’il vous plait.”
My toes curled at his voice and the waiter hurried to do his bidding. Mr. Sexy’s voice was cultured and deep. I like voices, particularly men’s voices. They can make me go gooey at the knees, and this one warmed my insides to the consistency of thick, warm honey. ”
