It's December and we're still running through the Six Sentence Sunday snippets. Have you been enjoying them? In 2021 there'll be all new snippets coming from a swag of new books... But for now, let's look at the next Celtic Cupid offering! Snippet: Jane pushed at him and he could feel the bed rock behind him, the backs of his knees catching on the edge of the surround. His sense of balance failed and he hooked an arm around Jane’s waist, meaning only to hold onto her, but instead he toppled backwards, taking her to the bed with him. “Oomph!” The sound escaped his lips, as she lay against his chest. She was warm and curvy. Then he kissed her. A Stranger's Embrace Cupid is at it again with a little more divine intervention, but can love survive the danger ahead? Jane has been living a lie, with her daughter Frannie. They’ve been on the run from her abusive husband for years eking out their existence while Jane’s hidden herself with disfiguring makeup and unflattering clothes. Davis Formosa, world famous science fiction author has been intrigued by the quiet and unassuming waitress at the diner he has taken to frequenting, unaware that she is his soulmate. But things change when the quiet woman is unmasked. But Cupid in the guise of Jake has his work cut out helping these two to find their happy ending, especially in the face of increasing danger. 2019 has been a super busy year. Apart from 6 re-releases, I've released 2 new-old books in paperback, add to that 2 all new releases and one coming next month and woah! I've been a busy busy girl. Then last night I finally sent Miss Isabelle's Craving to my publisher (boy I hope she likes it) So with some luck 2020 is starting to fill. All this adds up to a busy busy year. I also have another 3 fully completed manuscripts on my computer and 1 almost finished. (Some of these pieces are long term projects and others have been the work of not so long ago.) Now, as we wind into NanoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) I'm turning my mind to what I want to write next. I honestly don't have a clue. I have several things to finish... I guess I could work on them, I have a final book in a trilogy to write (that might be fun... bring me more zombie fun!) or I could just hustle something new. But hey, that's how I roll coming into Nano. So I thought it might be fun to see this years release list in full colour. 6 re-releases (paperback and ebook): 2 New in Paperback but already released as EBooks 3 All New Releases for 2019 (The last one releases in October 2019)
Hello! It feel like forever since I got the opportunity to post a blog. But, life is busy and so I've been just trying to swim with the tide. The tide has been winning lately. Today though, I actually achieved something amazing. See, I was offering my Special Pre Orders of Celtic Cupid for those who pre-ordered through a special portal. Today was D-Day. The day I set the books up with numbering, the Authentification certificates and per Elle Woods "the land of the free gift with purchase." Today I packaged and shipped those that were able to go. It felt wonderful.
And to those lovely readers who pre-ordered copies? Keep an eye on your mailbox because they are on their way now.
Yippee! ![]() Last week I brought you Blame The Wine, the very first of my Celtic Cupid tales. Today you get A Stranger's Embrace - a story of second chances with a little more divine intervention. He huffed, lifting her chin with a determined move. “Jane? If we do this, it means something.” Tears shone in her eyes and a punch of emotion hit him. He couldn’t hurt this woman. Not ever. She was special. He didn’t know how or why. Just that she was. “What do you mean?” she whispered so quietly he had to strain to hear. “Exactly what I said. If we sleep together, then there is a commitment from both of us.” He waited. What would she say next? He refused to push her, but in that instant he knew he wanted so much more than sex with this woman--he wanted a commitment. So the next step had to be hers.
