Welcome back to another Six Sentence Sunday offering.
Today I'm launching my new graphic... Like it?
Ove the next year, I plan to bring you a range of snippets and bits and pieces that will leaving you wanting more.
Today I'm focusing on Tomorrow's Promise!
“I was a lawyer on the fast train up. I had what everyone called, a stable and committed relationship with Karin, a beautiful daughter. A house overlooking the water in the very best suburb and near great schools.” He stopped, needing a moment to recoup as the reminder of what he’d lost battered at him. “My future seemed assured.”
“Then Emma Rose got sick?” she prompted quietly.
Life’s pretty much thrown everything it can at David: His wife, Karin left him after their child died. Watching his best friend marry his ex-wife sums up the ruins of his life. Attending the wedding could sink him further.
Being a bridesmaid at her best friend Michael's wedding, wasn’t on Genie’s bucket list. No, she’d rather be his bride. Watching the man she's lusted after, for more years than she’d like to admit, marry another woman, was not the highlight of her life. But meeting the brides ex-husband might be.
Caution: There are some themes in this story that people could find offensive.

In just under two weeks, hubs and I hit the road heading to Sydney for BABE (Ballgowns & Books) which is starting to look totally awesome! Oh and if you want to go but haven't yet bought your tickets? Click on the large BABE graphic and it will take you to the BABE website where you'll find links to the tickets still available!
Did you miss the hype?
Yesterday, being my first post dentist visit day, was partially spent getting ready. I need to pick up one more archive box to finish packing all my stuff, but with 20+ titles, I've ended up with approx 5 boxes of things to carry.
Ignore the messy floor... We had to find the books, put them into piles then decide how many of each title to take. I've settled on the less is more school of thought, because realistically, I can only carry so much!
Then I had to ensure I had the payment systems... The promo stuff... the list just goes on.
I did, however, this morning close my Pre Orders... It's a bit sad when that happens because you know the next bit is the most trying.
Not the travelling, but the setting up! I'm hopeful that this time, I'll be a bit more organised than I've been in a while. I have my bookstand, and clip on blackboards for pricing.
So, that's a view of behind the scenes. If you're coming to BABE I can't wait to see you! Next step is to find my uniform and ballgown out!

"There's more to me than that, Clarissa." He raised a hand, cupped her cheek and she almost quivered at his touch. "I'll never hurt you. I give you my word."
Mesmerised, she watched as he came closer, his soft pink lips skating over her cheek while her mind and body went into overdrive.

I've got an extensive list of books I want to work on. I've finished the Zombiology world books (for now) and am ready to go to my Archangels, I've got a couple of contemporaries (one with supernatural themes) to finish. I'm also thinking over a steampunk book or series... depending on how it pans out.
In terms of marketing, well, I'm planning on outsourcing that, because I know I don't do it so well.
In October I'm also taking a break and heading to Hawaii.
In November I'm back to ML for the Burnett region.
It's a big year. A year of growth and achievement. I'm looking forward to sharing it all with you...
Lastly, in case you didn't know, I do have a Readers group, called Imogene Nix's Makers & Fakers! Why not pop along and join us?
