Having lived in small rural communities for most of my married life, Hero of Heartbreack Hill was an opportunity to write about lifestyles I know.
It was also an opportunity to write a slightly different hero, one with an Asian background. (I have strong ties to China hence my hero is of an Anglo-Chinese background.)
Connor stretched his shoulders hoping to release the stiffness in them from long hours of driving. Kelly had offered to make dinner, he still had to unpack his car and the small present he'd bought for her drew his gaze. The jewellers case lay on the seat beside him.
The tiny diamond cat necklace was just the thing. He'd seen it and it reminded him of Davina and the way Kelly had fallen in love with the little kitten. For that matter, he was sure Davina was sleeping in the spot he hoped to claim some time soon: beside Kelly.
Hero of Heartbreak Hill
Second chances can be a killer...
When Connor meets Kelly it's clear that she's been hurt before and the reason she fights the growing attraction between them.
When her past raises its ugly head, the question becomes: can the outback town of Heartbreak Hill—and Connor—heal her broken heart?
Where to Buy
As the title suggests, I'm currently in the process of regaining some rights.
I am waiting for the reversion letters now for the entire Reunion Trilogy (War's End, The Assassin & Executing Justice) to jump into my inbox. I've been in touch with my designer and given her the go-ahead to rework the cover art. Hoping I should have it soon.
I've also requested A Bar In Paris.
None of these affect the paperback rights as I've never relinquished those.
I hope to have new covers, new links and new information very soon.
Thanks for sticking with me.
