The Chocolate Affair was born initially from the Edible Delights Anthology. The only rules were the story had to revolve around food and had to have an HEA with hot scenes.
Sounds like fun, right? This novella is also my first audio book offering (and if you follow the link through to the book, you'll see where you can order it!)
“I’m not beautiful. I’ve got puffy eyes and a red nose, I’m sure.” Deanna groped for her bag, looking for something to wipe and blow with. But the more she hunted the more likely it became that she would turn up with nothing.
“Here.” His soft words had her looking at him, as he extended a snowy white handkerchief.
The Chocolate Affair
Secrets, hidden truths and demons will find their way… Especially when chocolate is involved.
When Scheherazade Chocolates is bought out by an off-world consortium, Deanna's livelihood and that of her employees’ are jeopardized.
When that same consortium sends JD Ruan to assess the situation, Deanna is sure things can't get any worse...until they do.
What no one knows is JD's secret. He’s a demon and not just any kind of demon. He’s a pleasure demon.
Deanna has to come to terms with loss, second chances and pleasure demons before she can release herself to a future filled with so much more than she could ever imagine.
I love a nice story with an uncomplicated storyline as much as the next person and that's how the Celtic Cupid Trilogy started out. Blame the Wine revolves around BBW (Big Beautiful Woman) Cara. She's in a job she doesn't really love and has seen the man who makes her blood race. He's also seen her, but the thing is, getting together is a whole different kettle of fish.
I hope you enjoy this snippet!
I'm an author with a plan. At least once a week, I plan to bring you a reading from my books, and today I've chosen "The Chocolate Affair" for your pleasure.
PS it was really hot while I was recording this, so excuse the shiny shiny and sweat! So you could hear, I didn't run the cooler much as I would have liked to!
Nice of you to join me here. I can't believe I'm already up to releasing my first 2019 cover.
The funny thing is, this is the second incarnation of it. My wonderful Canadian cover artist - Fantasia Frog - created me an awesome cover. Then we discovered that the Darling Harbour, Sydney Opera House and Sydney bridge all have caveats. Now, we could have requested a dispensation but given time factors, we decided to rejig the cover. So here it is.
Remember, this book will go on Pre Order soon, so if you want to know more, sign up to my newsletter as I'll be including links there when it's uploaded and ready to go.
Expect to see it live in May 2019 and followed by A Stranger's Embrace and Revenge on Cupid. The paperback will release in August 2019.
