Welcome back to another Six Sentence Sunday offering. Today I'm launching my new graphic... Like it? Ove the next year, I plan to bring you a range of snippets and bits and pieces that will leaving you wanting more. Today I'm focusing on Tomorrow's Promise! SNIPPET “I was a lawyer on the fast train up. I had what everyone called, a stable and committed relationship with Karin, a beautiful daughter. A house overlooking the water in the very best suburb and near great schools.” He stopped, needing a moment to recoup as the reminder of what he’d lost battered at him. “My future seemed assured.” “Then Emma Rose got sick?” she prompted quietly. Blurb: Life’s pretty much thrown everything it can at David: His wife, Karin left him after their child died. Watching his best friend marry his ex-wife sums up the ruins of his life. Attending the wedding could sink him further. Being a bridesmaid at her best friend Michael's wedding, wasn’t on Genie’s bucket list. No, she’d rather be his bride. Watching the man she's lusted after, for more years than she’d like to admit, marry another woman, was not the highlight of her life. But meeting the brides ex-husband might be. Caution: There are some themes in this story that people could find offensive. Where to Buy: |

![]() Every now and again I get the hankering to write something different and Tomorrow's Promise is one of those stories. Written initially as a straight contemporary I couldn't resist adding a hint of something more... Oh. My. God! This is David? He’s gorgeous! With cat-green eyes and a physique to make any girl swoon. Even better, he was taller than she. She couldn’t control her exhalation. A tiny “oh,” then she smiled. The first real smile of the day. “Hi, David. I’m Genie, one of Michael’s mess mates.” ![]() Life’s pretty much thrown everything it can at David: His wife, Karin left him after their child died. ![]() Tomorrow's Promise is the second of my re-releases for 2018. It's a story I wrote years ago, and it focuses on the hope that can be found in love. Nothing is easy for either of my main characters, but together, the bond they forge saves both of them. “How he wished Emma Rose was here to join them in this celebration. She would’ve loved the gowns, the music and the way the laughter filled the air. He sighed again. Needed to pull out of his funk before it consumed him. His life needed to move on too. David caught sight of a woman, some distance away.” ![]() Life’s pretty much thrown everything it can at David: His wife, Karin left him after their child died. It's been a while since I've run an update on what I'm writing and investigating and boy has there been some stuff going on!
Investigations: Over the course of the last few weeks, I've been going back to some older work I started. These are stories I started but never finished due to time, family stuff getting in the way... You know, the usual stuff. One story in particular offered me the chance to drill down on practices that have interested me for years. Tantra. Yup, not everyone's cup of tea, but important to my storyline. So after a long break (well, since I was last working on this title) I really got back into studying the practices of Tantric Sex. Sounds, touch and even breathing are all impacted. But if you want to know more (and let's be honest, I'm sure I've barely touched the surface) take a look at this link: Dr Cheryl Fraser Book Status: Yes, I've been busy! This month I have Edits in my inbox for "Hero of Heartbreak Hill", I've finished "Miss Elspeth's Desire" which is the first book in a duology. I've also completed "When Evil Came To Stay", which just leaves one more story in that series to write. I've also completed a book (novella) called The Reset which is hopefully going into an anthology... Fingers crossed on the story! Releases: By the end of this month, I'll have 2 re-releases live! The first comes out on 19th February as is Loving Memories, followed swiftly on 1 March by Tomorrow's Promise. Returns: On the 28th February the latest of my Totally Bound titles will revert back to me. This one should be The Illuminated Witch. Sadly, they won't release them unless I, (a) pay for each and every book (and it's more than each and every book ever made) or (b) Wait out their release dates. I've contacted them (did so in July 2017) requesting every reversion as they come due. Sadly, this means that none of the Blood Secrets storylines will re-release until after 2020... If you're planning on getting copies, do so NOW as there will only be the books I carry in stock and I am limited in copies. (I'm not getting any more organised until I have the rights back and re-edited and re-covered) In a nutshell, that's an update on my current state of authorship :) Want to know more about what I'm up to?
