You know, there are so many aspects of writing Science Fiction Romance that I enjoy. Right now, I'm horrifying my friends and family with some of the research and concepts I'm using in my latest book, Children Of A Greater Evil. (I'd love to say I'm sorry, but I'm not!)
See, Science Fiction gives me the opportunity to play with a whole new set of parameters of what's acceptable in society.
For instance, hiding who you are in order to infiltrate the other side? Okay, so that includes some good guys, but is picking and choosing something you can afford to do? Maybe pick off those already mortally wounded...
Kill someone with a light fitting (been there, done that and really need the shirt!)
Playing with concepts of nanotechnology and ands efficacy in creating super soldiers. What about warrior children?
I've written quite a few now, where I've been fortunate to investigate everything from 'dead spots' where ammunition and artillery can't reach through to the heights that someone without a craft can safely jump (with or without oxygen and pressurised suits)
